Getting Outside My Head

So...J was taking M to the Fair today and as a surprise to see The Jona$ Brother$. They are a Di$ney band.

He picks her up at 11:15. They are about 25 mins from the Fair. Three hours!!! later they are still not there!!! All the official parking is full and house parking is charging $25 to $35 dollars!!

By the time he would find house yard parking there would be 5 vehicles fighting for it. He finally bailed. He gave up at 2:30!!! How crazy is that!!

I know the Fair is not expecting that kind of crowd. They are just playing the main stage..not the Cotton Bowl. Traffic on 30, 75 and 35 is still bumper to bumper not moving! Saturday's Tx/OU traffic was not this bad!!

So glad we did not tell her what the surprise was..she was sad enough that they could not go to the Fair. He promised her he would take her again before the Fair leaves.

Goodness....who knew they were that big!

UPDATE: State Fair President reports 20,000 fans watch the concert!

J's mother is in town. I am so excited to see her. I love her and have always valued her opinion so with what went on in the past I am nervous.

He has told me SEVERAL times she is not upset and everything is okay...but ya know I still worry.

Anyway...she will be here a month to help J out with baby until she starts daycare next month. I am excited just knowing she is here! yay!
