A Nice Break

This past weekend Molly and I went to my Dad's house. It was a great weekend. We took the dog, Sipsy, and she was great. She is only 6 months old and extremely hyper; however, at my Dad's she was really good. The bad behavior must be from no fear of me... :) Anyway..my Dad actually played with her a great deal. She loved that she could run everywhere and check things out. They have a good amount of property around them...grass and trees.

Molly baked and cooked with Nonna. I was so impressed and amazed at M's skills. She made the cake pretty much by herself. Nonna measured and she poured and stirred and even cracked and opened all the eggs! She helped with dinner as well. I just do not have that kind of time during the week but I think on the weekends we will start having our own little cooking show. I was really impressed!

We went to the Magnolia Festival and hung out and talked all weekend. I spent some one on one time with my Dad and that was really great. I did not realize how much I missed spending time with them.

It gave me time to think about everything that is going on in my life and spend time with Molly as well. It broke my heart to take her to school today. I wanted to stay with her all day.

Also watched the game with the family. Dad and Nonna were shocked that Molly not only watched the game but cheered Dallas on. It was cute. She loves Dallas teams!

Today started the real summer for Molly. Swim classes at school begin again. She was so excited. Planning out which swim suit she would today and the rest of the week. She is going to come home in such a good mood. :)

Oh...and she played so hard Sat and Sun that on the way home she fell asleep in the car about 6:30pm...the girl did not wake up till midnight. She came in to tell me she needed some water and then went right back to sleep. Now that is one tired girl!

Great Week

We went on vacation! We had a blast. Went to spend time with J's parents in Indiana and then drove to Ohio to the best amusement park I have EVER been too...Cedar Point!

I am not a huge park fan...but I am now. This place was HUGE! and had a water park as well. The tallest and scariest rollercoasters and rides anywhere! I sucked it up and went on every ride they did...I was scared out of my mind so much so that I lost my voice Monday and STILL do not have it back! It was great and I can not wait to go back.

The park had three areas for the kids plus other family rides throughout the park. Molly had the best time ever!!! The areas were really big with many rides and activities for the kids.

We got home Tuesday and on Wednesday took my niece and nephew to Six Flag$. Wow...how small 6 Flags seems now. The rides did not scare me at all. I think Cedar Point has ruined me for other parks. Now I want the best...

We were there a day and a half and did not even scratch the surfice of the park. Huge I am telling you. :)

It was great to be gone....back now... Man.... I am so ready to move out of Tx now. Tx will always be my home but the weather was so nice there...Don't want to move there but I am not against relocating.

Slow Down

We seem to always have something to do these days. A family is a very busy thing I am finding out.

We have plans, Sat, Sun, Mon and Tues! and then I have to work the next two weekends and then we are supposed to go camping the following weekend but that is J's birthday so it may change. I know there is something on the 29th but I can not remember what it is right now.

Then it will be busy getting ready for our trip to Di$ney World in mid August. Whew......I am tired just writing it all down.

All the plans will be fun once I get there so I am keeping that in mind!

Everyone have a Great and Safe Fourth of July!
