Life

Why is it when you are finally happy and know exactly what you want something happens and changes EVERYTHING. Your world gets turned upside down.

I enjoy life...I love having it...but I am so ready for NO DRAMA! All is I want is a family and a nice house with a patio to sit outside. Is that too much to ask???

Happy Belated Mother's Day!

I hope everyone had a good Mother's Day.

I have to say nice words from strangers can mean so much! I went to Starbuck$ for coffee that morning and M was with and a couple coming out as we went in stopped to say HMD to me. I thought..."Wow...how nice". Then when inside another person said HMD. We went outside to sit and wait for J to pick us up and another coupled pulled up and went inside. They came out to sit as well and both said HMD and then asked M what she gave me and told me how beautiful M was. It was just so nice that complete strangers had nice things to say and we were in Addison. Usually the people over there can be snobby but not yesterday.

Throughout the day several people stopped to say HMD. It was really nice. I sometimes will compliment people that I do not know and they really seem to appreciate the comment. Guess I am just not used to it in return. It was a good feeling.

M got me two necklaces. One for me and one for her. Mine is kinda square with a heart cut out of it and hers is the heart. She picked it out herself. I love it! She was so proud. It was great!! I love her so much...I just can not put it into words.

Music

I have not purchased music for myself since...well I can not remember. I always choose to spend it on Molly. Well not yesterday...

I purchased Teddy Geiger and The Fray. OMG! I love both Cd's!

Teddy is 16....wrote all but one song on the Cd...the boy is amazing to me. I really like it.

The Fray is really good too. I have not listened to that one completely yet because I was listening in the vehicle and it is hard when M is with me.

I love music. It is great to get back to a little of me. Music is my happy, sad, excited ...just everything place.

Anyway I was so moved by these Cds I decided to write about it.

Spring Musical

M had her Spring Musical last night. She did so good! I am so proud of her.

She sang loud and danced.. it was great!! Her music teacher is also teaching them to read music and showed an example. Everyone was so impressed. M knew all the notes and all the tas and tes and rests...WoW!

She really stood out and enjoyed it. J got her hair done and she wore a pretty spring dress...she was soooooo darn cute! I know I am gushing...but I am just so proud!

So Glad it is Over

This weekend sucked! I can not put it any better than that...it really did.

It should have been great...my parents had M till Monday...but it did not go as planned. Not going into detail...just glad it is over.

Oh...but I will say...To All GRANDPARENTS out there....too much sugar WILL make kids sick and vomit all over the place including MY new SUV!!! Cookies and icing is NOT considered lunch.

Do not just tell a child. "you sure have had a lot of pink icing out of that bowl..watch out it may make you sick" ...Please take it away. You do not have to clean up the projectile gallon of pink chuncky vomit at the gas station for over an hour. Walk the poor child in and then strip her down and wash her in the sink with others staring. Then wash down the bathroom and the path that led to the bathroom. All while someone else is trying to clean out the SUV and take apart the child seat because it is so soaked that the cushion has to come off. Rinse the plastic part as best as possible and drive home another hour with that stench!

Again though...I will not go into detail.
