Getting Outside My Head

I have been ill for the past two days..yuck...

Molly was not feeling well Friday and Saturday....

Only one that has been good is J...thank goodness cause he has really taken care of me the past two days. He took Molly to and from school and made dinner for the two of them and servered me dinner in bed. It was nice to have the help. I actually was able to rest.

Back at the office...feel much better than the past two days but not great. Happy I am on the road to recovery though!

We all had a great V Day. J sent me the "Love Potion" bouquet Monday from 1-800FLs. It is really cool. Extremely over sized margarita glass with pink foam in the glass and then on top a think layer of white daisies, then pink carnations and then three red roses. I loved it!

On V Day he sent me tulips and iris' with a cool vase of soft pink and hot pink with the work LOVE painted on it. I LOVE them as well. So pretty!

He got M a single red rose. She felt so special!! It was wonderful.

She had a party at school. I, as usual, brought fruit trays, apple trays and strawberries. The kids ate every bit of what I brought so I has happy about that. Of course though...some parents brought tons of candy. People...fruit is sugar...that is enough!

Okay..V Day is turning into Halloween it appears. She has almost as much candy as she did in Oct. I really wish parents would not do that. To me, it assumes that all parents are okay with giving the kids unlimited candy. Well..I am not one of them. Three of her friends gave her V-Day printed paper lunch sacks at least 1/4 or more full of candy. Many of the cards had candy taped to them and some even gave out "One Free Donut" cards. Okay..a lollie pop taped to a card...okay..but bags of candy!

I let M have some candy...but come on. I would never give another child bags of candy. I do not even do that at her birthday. They get goodie bags with toys not candy.

So...you know who woke up this morning and wanted what...CANDY!. Nope...not gonna happen. Enough of that rant.

Anyway...we had a great dinner and wonderful V Day!

I love to play triva stuff. Even when I do not know one answer I still enjoy it.

M was with Grandpa so J and I went to D&B. They have this new triva game that is like a gameshow. Huge sceen with a row of four seats in front of it. Each spot has a A, B and C button. On the screen a wheel appears and spins, lands on a topic and then displays the question. Speed and accuracy count.

I had a blast!! We played several people and I won most of the games. I lost too but it still was fun. Walked away with a large amount of tickets. We got M three big items.

We both had fun. I think J enjoyed watching me beat the other people more than playing...it was funny. We enjoyed a nice evening out.
