Hey There..

Okay...M Ball was a blast! J and I were the last ones standing at 6:30am! Yes...were are both too old for that but it was fun!

I even got him to dance with me...slow songs but I still got to dance!

Dad's

We went to my Dad's for the holiday. We left Wed and came back Sunday. We all had a great time. My brother and his family were there Thurs and then left early Friday. It was great to see all the kids playing. Molly had a blast!

I did find out though....that my step-mother gives Molly everything I say no to! I was asked at one time if she could have cookies several months ago when she was at Nonna and Grandpaw's. I gave in and said okay but not too many. Well I guess that was me opening the door to everything! Molly would go up to Nonna and ask for.....orange juice, apple juice, tea, cookies and even CHOCOLATE!

I have never heard these words come out of my daughter. But she said them clear as day. Step-mother's response.."Well..she asks for them at your house doesn't she?" ..."Uh, NO! She ask for milk or water only." So, I got to see just how spoiled she is at thier house. She was good though... I am still in shock at all the crap they give her. Molly would ask for milk but be given OJ. The last day I finally said enough. No more..only milk or water.

It was good to spend time with my dad and Marla though. My brother tried to give kid advice...did not go over too well. I was really surprised at the topic. But I just ignored him.

Now...back to the real world.

Crazy Month

WoW...so much has happen that I really needed to vent about but just have not had time.

We did a real tree the weekend after Thanksgiving(I think that was when). If you have not been to my place...the living room is EXTREMELY small. So what space was available is now gone. But the muchkin is happy. She had so much fun picking out the tree. And every morning there is something new under the tree and she notices first thing! She will be in mid sentence and stop and say "HHEEYYY...new mommy!". She is too cute. SHe is really good though, does not touch the tree or presents. SHe loves to sit on the couch and look at it and tell me how pretty her tree is. :)

I am moving on the 28th. That is right...this month on the 28th. Just found I was doing this last week. So I with all that is going on I have THIS WEEKEND only to pack! Two days!!! I will get done because it has to be done. Could not find a house I liked and was going to stay six more months and then we had another issue with this unit. So...with the assistance of Jason...the corporate office decided to give me the largest two bedroom unit for what I am paying now. It is soooo much bigger and all on one level! Yay!. That means no more toys in the living room. Molly will play in her room. I will not let her go up the stairs by herself so my living room and dining room are the Play room.

I am not excited about the move but am excited about the unit. My bathroom is bigger than my kitchen now and I have a good size kitchen. The unit leases for a large amount...a amount I could not afford. So it is nice but still not a house. So..that gives me one more year to find a house. Hopefully I will have better luck next year.

Well..I am off to purchase boxes and get started. Still have a few gifts that I need to get but that will be put off till next week. I am actually going to have to take a lunch at the office to get it done.

Have a good weekend!

Presents

J went home from for the holidays on Tuesday. Molly and I were unable to go because of the move and price of the tickets(big mistake...next time I am just booking it and going). So, on Sunday we went to J's company holiday outing at Midev Times. Molly loved it. I was really surprised. She sat on J's lap the entire time. She loved the horses and all the colors. She even ate the food. After we got home it was present time.

He got M the Fisher Price InterActive TV set. It helps develope learning skills. I thought she might be to young for it....nope. I was wrong again. He also got her a movie and a game to go the the InterActive Tv.

Then he opened the gifts I got him. He really liked them so I was extremely happy. He told me that I had to open mine at Christmas but then surprised me by asking me to open it Sunday. WoW....best gift ever!

It started with card. It was beautiful. The best written expression of love I have ever received. It made me cry it was so touching. That was enough for me. He really opened up and I was so touched. When I opened the box.......there it was...

A BLUE BOX!!

My first blue box from a man. But not just any gift. A gift that matched the words in the card he sent me. It is a neckless with two hearts clasped together. It is beautiful. It means so much. It is not just a neckless it is his message.

It was a wonderful evening.

Happy Holidays

I am leaving here in a few to go to my dads. I am NO WHERE near done packing so I will have to come back early and finish. I am just not ready for this move. With all the stress I have been ill for the past two days(work stuff).

For awhile I was considering dropping Molly off at my dad's today and then coming back and working today/night and tomorrow. But ya know...it is just not worth it. Molly and my health need to come first. A job can be replaced...Molly can not. So with that said...I am trying to calm down and relax. The move will get done.....maybe not as easy as I had hoped but it will get done.

So....off to see family. My step-brother and his family are driving in today. I can't wait to see the baby. It will be a short visit but that is my fault so I am dealing. I look forward to see everyone.

Thinking about all of you as well. Hope everyone has a safe and great holiday
