24 Hour$

So it starts as a normal month end on the 31st. Then around late afternoon things change a little and reports that are normally do 3 days after the 31st are now do at the end of day. Then end of days seems to mean when the last contract comes in. What does this mean to me at 5:00pm????

Well, my friend(who offered...bless him) had to pick Molly up from school. Yup..that is right. What does that mean?? We had to switch vehicles, fax his DR license to the school since he is not on list, write down directions because he has never been there, give him a meal plan and how to make it and it gets better..I forgot to wash Molly's sleepers so he has to do my laundry as well.

Oh....but it does not end there. I get home around 9:00PM. He leaves and I watch my show, which he has taped for me without me asking. How great is he... Midnight thirty I wake to Molly's cry of fear. I turn on the light....

Better but not Well

I dropped Molly off at school only to be called by her school twice and then pick her up after her nap.

She is doing much better now though. I will put her to bed early again. She is just worn out. She also needs plenty of rest before her day with my friend.

I have to work all day so he is sitting. So far...he plans to go to Macy'$, Ban Republic, Target and his friend's house. He takes her more places than I do!

I think he will end up on call though and they will stay here and play.

Have a good evening on the mound!

At the Office

We actually have today as a holiday but of course I am here.

It is okay. I had planned on working this weekend but then was told to take the time off. Then yesterday late was told I need to come in. I don't mind. So much going on and it needs to get done now.

However, I will be going to my parents for Easter. And.....the friend is coming with me. Camille...close your mouth and breathe....it will be okay. Yes...that is right, the friend is meeting the parents. WoW!

I am glad he is coming with me. It just seems natural for him to be there.

Gotta run....duty calls here at the office.

Have a great Easter.

Meet the Parent$

Went extremely well. The friend was amazingly comfortable and even spoke!!

My father and step-mother really liked him. Both my dad and friend would tease me about the EXACT same things and not know other had just said something. It was pretty freaky and funny at the same time.

My brother and friend ganged up on me in about the first 10 minutes. It was make fun of Shelby day the entire time. It was fun.

My father was very impressed at how well he took care of Molly. He noticed that I never had to ask him to do anything he just did it. He also played with my niece and nephew so they warmed up to him rather quick.

Ya know it just felt comfortable. It felt right, as if this was not thier first meeting.

My girl did become ill again though. She has had the runs since Friday and then Sunday came down with 104.5. I was out with her yesterday and my father is on his way now to pick her up. Poor girl! Have I mentioned yet how much I hate her school?!

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Boyfriend = Date..Right?

I thought when I finally had a boyfriend that meant I would always have a date. We could go anywhere anytime and do things together. NOT!

The friend is on call two weeks out of the month and that means we can not travel too far from home. He gets called like every two hours and has to have access to his computer to correct the issue. It is starting to get annoying.

I do not mind calls all hours of the night but I would really like to go out sometimes. K invited us to an evening out that I know the friend would love but he is on call this weekend. I know there are other times but we are both so stressed at the office that I am affraid we are about to start taking it out on each other.

Oh well...maybe another time. Next week will be better.

Oh by the way...the friend...he got the virus today. :(

My World

I stress too much. I need to not worry about what I can not control.

I think I have become much better at handling my stress but sometimes I loosen the grasp a little too much.

Things happen for a reason some good some bad. They happen and then you move on.

It is strange, I thought once I was happy I would not stress. Not true..I just stress about different issues. But it is nice to have someone by my side to remind me of what is really important , actually he does not remind me I figure it out on my own.

You know at this moment I am not stressed at all. I am thinking about all the wonderful people in my life. I am thankful for those people. I wish only the best for them.

Good Night. Sweet Dreams.

Great Weekend

We had a wonderful weekend. Watched movies Friday night, hung out Saturday and then went to a crawfish boil Sunday. We all had a wonderful time. The crawfish were okay, not spicy enough, I just kept thinking how much better Josh's daddy's crawfish must be. But it was a beautiful day, good music and great company.

It was a wonderful family day. Just the three of us. If that was a look into my future I liked it. Scary for me to think that...but everything just felt right. We felt like a family.

Speaking of family...I sure am missing that little baby boy. I am sure he has changed so much since I saw him in the hospital. Maybe sometime soon I can see him.

Well...have a great day!

Kool!

I had a dr's appt today and got out early so I decided to run by The G@p. I usually just shop for Molly but since I was alone I shopped for me and guess what ....I was two sizes smaller!!! Yay!!!

I picked up one size and the sales assoc stated that really looked too big. I thought, she just does not know what she is talkin about. Once I tried the clothes on, I thought okay I think these may be too big. I asked for another size. It felt big but I thought it looked okay and she just stood back and looked at me and said "You have got to be kidding if you think that fits." I just laughed. She brought the next size smaller and it fit so much better. I could not believe it. I was so excited.

I spent way too much money so I will not be telling mister thirfty Lord V how much I spent. He only shops at Macy$ but only buys what is on sale. He actually paid $7 bucks for a pair of pants that were $125. He cracks me up. That man can shop some bargins!

And ya know I could not leave without getting the girl some new clothes as well. I just bought her a wardrobe from this store last month...oh well..you can never have too many clothes! :)

18 Month Check Up

Hard to believe my girl is 18 months already!

Her check up went great. She is getting to be a big girl. She is at 75 to 90 percent tile in weight and height. I think she may be taller than me! I liked her in the 50 percent tile but the girl has to grow.

The doctor was extremely impressed with her motor skills, vocabulary, comprehension and eating habits. That made me feel good. I was worried that Molly's words were not clear enough. Looks like no worries though!

I can't wait to hear about Mini's first doctor's appt!
