I just realized a year has passed since I have spoken to someone. It seems like it was yesterday. I have not blogged about it all, nor will I go into it now.

I know the end of our 20 year friendship is for the best but I do still think about it. It really does seem like the ordeal happened about a month ago, but it was last March. A year ago.

Time does fly.

Please remember communication is KEY!

I need to vent...but I will pass. I will remember to breathe and think about my Molly girl. Everything I do right now is for her. I can take anything and let it roll of my shoulders because all that is important is taking care of my girl.

Ok...I go to sushi with a guy here at the office. He is really funny and a quick wit. He handles the office needs, you could say an office assistant or manager so he works with everyone...knows everyone.

Well...he wanted sushi pretty bad today.

The weather sirens went off in Las Colinas tonight and what did this 32 year old mature women and mother do......

Called DADDY!!!!

I was so scared. It took a while to find a station that had the weather on. For over 45 minutes it showed funnel clouds forming but not touching down. Huge hail fell and the thunder and lightening made my heart race. It was a LONG 45 minutes.

Thankfully no tornados touched ground. Camille and Josh went to a movie tonight. I started to call them because it looked like the storm was going their way but not as severe as here in Las Colinas. I hope their cars did not get any hail damage.

My brother lives by Texas Stadium, not far from here at all, and all he got was wind. No rain, no hail...nothing. I am glad everyone is ok.

Scarey night.

Molly's bed time schedule at home has been 9:30pm. I feed her cereal at 8:00, give her a bath at 8:45, last feeding at 9:00 and then rock her till about 9:15 or 9:30. Lately, several people have mentioned to me that 9:30 is too late and 8:00 or 8:30 would be better.

I have been trying this 8:30 thing and it is really hard. We do not get home till 6:45 or so. That means cereal at 7:00, bath at 7:45 and last feeding at 8:00. It goes by so fast. We just have NO time together. She is at such a great age right now. Laughing and playing...I feel guilty putting her down so early.

If it is better for her I will continue but I do not like it. She has a Dr appt on the 24th and I will ask my Dr what she thinks.

Yesterday I received a great compliment. A guy at the office said to me "you always look so fresh in the morning. You must go to bed early and get a good nights sleep everynight." I thanked him but explained that I do not get to sleep all that much at night due to Molly. He went on to say how great I looked and that I just looked,.."fresh and clean all the time...it was just refreshing to see me".

Ok....my girl is getting bored at home! At school she has been playing in one of those activity centers for over a month now. I just found this out about a week ago. I walked in and saw her in it playing and just loving the hell out of it.

Well.... now she is a bear because she is just too old for her toys. Attitude all over the place. She wants the big kid toys.

My brother said he had one and would give it to Molly. I waited for a week and then over the weekend asked him about it. They have decided to keep it now. She played in that thing all day Saturday and I mean ALL DAY!. She loved it and hated to get out of it. So I have to get to the store this week and get one.

If this is her pattern....I am in big trouble down the line. :)

Ok...I feel bad now. Some reviews say they have had them since the baby was 4 months old. Sorry Molly, I thought they were for babies around 7 months. Day care should have told me you had been playing in them for awhile.

SORRY!

Ok....so I call this baby store to see if they have the activity center that I wanted. I speak to the person in charge of that department. I ask for the product, I give the EXACT name...he tells me yes they have it. I then describe it in detail.....he tells me yes they have it. I then explain that this is last years model NOT this years and are you sure you have it because this store is NOWHERE near me....he tells me yes they have it. Great...so I take a long lunch and drive ALL THE WAY over to the store to get it. You guessed it

THEY DID NOT HAVE IT!!!! THEY NEVER HAD IT!!!!!

A friend sent this email....it just hit home with me today so I thought I would post.

Before I was a Mom - I slept as late as I wanted and never worried about how
late I got into bed. I brushed my hair and my teeth everyday.

Easter was great. Went to my Dad's and my brother and his family came down Sat night. We took the kids to my step-mother's church to show them off. She was really proud of them.

The kids awoke to the presents and basket the Easter Bunny brought. They had a blast. Little Molly was so excited! She was sitting(standing) in her activity center(my brother gave me his) and started bouncing up and down in excitement when I placed all her bunny rabbits around her. She had a blast.

Later that eveing we had an Easter Egg Hunt! My little Molly put three of the eggs in her basket all by herself!!!! Not sure who had more fun on this one, Molly or Mommy?!

It was a great time!

My baby girl is 6 months old! She had her check up last week.

She got yucky shots that made her sick the next day. :(

She is a growing girl though!!! She started foods on Sunday...and the girl loved her green beens!! She is changing and learning so fast. It is amazing. I really regret not having a video camera.

The only bad news....the DR finally diagnosed her with asthma. She had her first breathing treatment. It broke my heart. The DR wants to space them out and only give when needed. We go back in 6 weeks. :(
