A review of “WALL·E”

by Andrew Stanton

I took the family out to see this on opening night. I thought this was a great movie with a great underlying message. From a 4 year olds perspective “we need a real Wall-E at home”. He sat there and watched the whole thing and loved it, him sitting still for that length of time is a miracle itself 🙂

A review of “Zero Day Threat: The Shocking Truth of How Banks and Credit Bureaus Help Cyber Crooks Steal Your Money and Identity”

by Byron Acohido

I read this book because I really wanted to find the shocking truth about how banks help cyber crooks steal your money. What I found was some stories about crimes that have been committed, which I have read about before, but with more detail. What I didn’t find was much on how banks help with stealing money. It focused mostly on the Payment Card Industry and Credit Bureaus which do seem to help, but not really anything from the banking side that could actually be used to make a bank more secure.

I won a screen saver from Dr. Pepper

I twisted off a cap and after waiting for some flash to load, entering my email, creating a password and waiting for more flash to load, I entered my code. I won a screen saver. I remember when you could just twist of the cap and read if you won another Dr. Pepper or not, that was much better. So now I have a screen saver advertisement, I don’t really fell like I won anything….
