    URPMI is good, and is the equivalent to apt or yum from other distros. It does the job of installing, removing, updating etc packages and programmes taking all dependencies into account. It is more graphical than yum (I haven’t used apt so cannot comment on it!) but both do the job that they are supposed to do.
    However, I am a little surprised by the opening of this thread – so little is said that it smacks of being advertising. But perhaps I am just being critical – no offence meant and I hope none taken…. JR
